Marco Jacobs

Hi there!

These are exciting times in the multimedia world; more and more consumer electronics include audio and video technologies. YouTube video consumes more bandwidth than the whole internet did in 2000. Analog TV Broadcast was switched off in 2007 in the Netherlands and will be switched off in 2009 in the US. Apple's audio-playing iPod sold more than 150 million units worldwide, with its successor the iPhone to follow. Over one billion phones world-wide capture images and video.

I am the Director of Multimedia Solutions for Europe and Asia at ARC International, a leading provider of the technology behind consumer electronics devices that capture, share and play digital media. Our video products brings a better viewing experience to the end consumer and our Sonic Focus audio technology brings you closer to original performance in the studio.

My blog about video, imaging and graphics applications is called Picky Pixels.

More information on my professional life is available at LinkedIn. If we know each other, it'd be good to connect there also.
